I had so much fun in San Antonio, Texas at last year’s Walk & Roll event. I knew I was making a difference by raising money to help a great cause. The morning breeze was refreshing as I wore my Walk & Roll t-shirt, which was uniquely designed.

Walk and Roll is one of my favorite events at the Civitan International Convention. It’s not competitive and walking with a buddy or new friend is awesome and rewarding!  I walk to raise funds and awareness for the research presently going on for individuals with intellectual and developmental differences at the research center in Birmingham, Alabama. Then too, the walk is healthy for me as well.

My commitment and dedication, along with many others, is the reason for our success. If you’ve participated in the past and/or made a financial contribution, I hope you realize your generosity and efforts were greatly appreciated. Can I count on you this year?
