Civitan Changes Lives
Civitan is the only service organization dedicated to serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and through the Civitan International Research Center, we are helping find cures and develop treatments for autism, Rett syndrome, Down syndrome and many more brain-related disorders.
Civitans are Champions of Service
Civitan offers people of all ages the opportunity to selflessly serve their communities and make the world a better place. Whether building wheelchair ramps, developing inclusive playgrounds or fundraising for the Civitan International Research Center, we are a hands-on organization ready to roll up our sleeves to positively impact individuals in our communities.
Civitan Spans The Globe
Since the beginning, Civitans have united under a universal mission rooted in service. Spanning more than 20 nations in North America, Africa, Europe, Asia and the Pacific Islands, Civitan is truly a global organization dedicated to serving others.
SPOTLIGHTS
Civitan is making a difference in our local community through service projects. We meet monthly and have a variety of options for members to choose from that are making a difference in the lives of those around us.
Heart of Georgia DDM
The club presented Heart of Georgia Development Disabilities Ministries with a $1500 check for deck and sunroom repairs.
March 14th Guest Speaker
Jerome Stephens with ReBuilding Together shared the impact of his organization in Warner Robins.
Boston Butt Fundraiser
Members gathered early to prep Boston Butts to be smoked for our annual fundraiser.
Happy Hour Christmas Lunch
Members served lunch to Happy Hour Service Center.

This is our 2nd annual bowl-a-thon. We raise funds through lane sponsorships and bowling teams. It’s a fun event!
