On Your Mark, Get Set & Go for 2026 Walk & Roll

Hey everyone,
With May already in progress, the summer is going to fly by before we know it.
And there are others who have already gotten a head start, so it’s time for you to get moving for the 2026 Walk & Roll for Research! Already five teams and numerous individuals have streaked ahead to raise over $6,500, and seven sponsors have pledged another $14,000. That means we are at 40 percent of out $50,000 fundraising goal for this year.
But we need you to take us across the finish line by registering now to walk and roll at the convention in Louisville, Kentucky, August 19-22 OR by organizing a walk in your own area.
There are a lot of new things about this year’s Walk & Roll, but some things are still the same. Here what you need to know:
- You have to REGISTER NOW!! – You heard that right. You CANNOT register in-person at the Convention.
- Register as an INDIVIDUAL, not as a TEAM – Yes, another big change. Why? Because you can qualify for individual incentives that way – but you have to REGISTER BY AUGUST 10 to qualify for INCENTIVE PRIZES AND RECOGNITION.
- You can still join a TEAM OF UP TO 5 people – Each member of the team must raise at least $100 personally. The top 3 teams will be recognized at the convention.
- NEW WATER BOTTLE – an elegant white stainless steel, insulated water bottle featuring the full-color Civitan Walk & Roll for Research logo
- “FUN”DRaising ideas – The attached participant guide has fun ideas for fundraising along the way.
Here is the information on individual fundraising and incentives
- $60-$159 – Official Walk & Roll T-shirt and Walk & Roll wrap up celebration
- $160-$749 – Official Walk & Roll T-shirt, Water bottle and Walk & Roll wrap up celebration
- $750-$1,499 – Official Walk & Roll T-shirt, Water bottle, Cooling Towel and Walk & Roll wrap up celebration
- $1,500 to 2,499 – Official Walk & Roll T-shirt, Water bottle, Cooling Towel, Walk and Roll wrap up celebration, and the opportunity to lead out the Walk & Rollers at the international convention
- $2,500 and Above – Official Walk & Roll T-shirt, Water bottle, Cooling Towel, Walk and Roll wrap up celebration, the opportunity to lead out the Walk & Rollers at the international convention and Meet and Greet with Dr. Powell
The top 3 individuals and the top 3 teams will receive special recognition!
