Servant’s Heart Awards
The Servant’s Heart Awards (SHA) is Civitan International’s global awareness project that offers Civitan clubs a unique opportunity to honor someone in their community who supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Everything you need to help your club prepare to carry out this project is available to you on this page. For questions, please contact Amy Natsumi Roberts, Director of Marketing and Communications, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Guidebook: If you’re new to SHA or simply need a quick refresher, start by reviewing the SHA Guidebook. This guidebook offers a complete breakdown of the SHA project. Click here to download the SHA Guidebook.
Certificate: A branded SHA certificate if available here for you to download and customize yourself. When you open this PDF, you’ll see two blue boxes. Click inside the boxes and start typing. There is one space reserved for the honoree’s name and another to include your club name. Print this certificate on cardstock or frame it for a nice finishing touch. A space is also included for your club president to sign.
Print Ads and Posters: Send a digital copy of this print ad to your local paper or news outlets to let them know you’re holding an event to recognize an important person in your community. Click here to download SHA print ads.
News Releases: There are two news releases available for you to download and customize to send to your local media partners. One is in case you’d like individuals in your community to submit nominees for your club’s SHA award. The other is to use after the event to announce the winner.
