CLUB MEMBERSHIP STATUS

• Golden Circle Clubs: 30-49 members
  • Recognition on the Civitan website with connection to monthly all-member newsletters and in the Civitan Magazine
  • New clubs that charter at Golden Circle level, with 30 or more members, will receive an International Golden Circle grant of $250 to be used for service projects or a choice of one of the following: (1) bell and gavel  (2) banner stand (3) podium
  • Golden Circle clubs who remain at charter strength will receive additional International Golden Circle Grant funds at year one anniversary and year two anniversary to be used for service projects
• Sapphire Clubs: 50-74 members
  • Recognition on the Civitan website with connection to monthly all-member newsletters and in the Civitan Magazine
• Diamond Clubs: 75-99 members
  • Recognition on the Civitan website with connection to monthly all-member newsletters and in the Civitan Magazine
• Century Clubs: 100-149 members
  • Recognition on the Civitan website with connection to monthly all-member newsletters and in the Civitan Magazine
• Shropshire Clubs: 150+ members
  • Recognition on the Civitan website with connection to monthly all-member newsletters and in the Civitan Magazine

MEDALLION MEMBERS

• International presents special recognition to a member once he or she reaches 25 years of membership. Additional levels are recognized every 5th year after 25.
  • Medallion Lapel Pin mailed quarterly to Club President for presentation

MEDALLION CLUBS 

• At the following club anniversary milestones, special recognition will be presented:
  • 25th Anniversary: Banner Patch mailed quarterly to Club President
  • 50th Anniversary: Banner Patch mailed quarterly to Club President
  • 75th Anniversary: Banner Patch mailed quarterly to Club President
  • 100th Anniversary:
    • Banner Patch mailed quarterly to Club President
    • Special Recognition Feature in Civitan Magazine
    • Special Recognition Feature on Social Media

CLUB BUILDER RECOGNITION

Civitan International will pay for one item from the club building apparel collection for one club builder if the built club charters as a Golden Circle Club. Additional apparel will be billed to a district or individual. All club builders are welcome to purchase their own apparel at the appropriate level. Please refer to Civitan International Policy 0802 for further details.

An officially registered club re-build per International Policy may count towards club building status. 

• Accredited Club Builder: trained, but no clubs built
• Certified Club Builder: 1-4 clubs built
  • 1st Club Built:
    • Eligible for Certified Club Building apparel (navy)
  • 2nd-4th Club Built:
    • Additional lapel pin star for each club built
•  Master Club Builder: 5-9 clubs built*
  • 5th Club Built:
    • Eligible for Master Club Building apparel (gray)
    • Plaque awarded
    • Special seating to be given at International Convention growth sessions
  • 6th-9th Club Built:
    • Additional lapel pin star for each club built
• Executive Master Club Builder: 10-14 Clubs Built*
  • 10th club built:
    • Eligible for Executive Master Club Builder crest to be added to apparel
    • Waived International Convention registration fees as long as club builder is an active member of a Civitan club
    • Recognition in Civitan Magazine
    • Special seating to be given at International Convention growth sessions
  • 11th-14th club built:
    • Additional lapel pin star for each club built
• Senior Executive Master Club Builder: 15+ Clubs Built*
  • 15th Club Built:
    • Eligible for Executive Master Club Building apparel (black)
    • Waived International Convention registration fees as long as club builder is an active member of a Civitan club
    • Recognition in Civitan Magazine
    • Special seating to be given at International Convention growth sessions
  • Additional Clubs Built after 15:
    • Additional lapel pin star for each club built

*To be eligible for this award, each of the qualifying clubs built must be in good standing at the time of recognition, or each club must have been in existence for a minimum of 5 years

• A club who sponsors a new club and fosters its growth and success is presented with special recognition
