Our vision is to be a global community where people of all abilities and talents make the world a better place.
Civitan Changes Lives
Civitan is the only service organization dedicated to serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and through the Civitan International Research Center, we are helping find cures and develop treatments for autism, Rett syndrome, Down syndrome and many more brain-related disorders.
Civitans are Champions of Service
Civitan offers people of all ages the opportunity to selflessly serve their communities and make the world a better place. Whether building wheelchair ramps, developing inclusive playgrounds or fundraising for the Civitan International Research Center, we are a hands-on organization ready to roll up our sleeves to positively impact individuals in our communities.
Civitan Spans The Globe
Since the beginning, Civitans have united under a universal mission rooted in service. Spanning more than 20 nations in North America, Africa, Europe, Asia and the Pacific Islands, Civitan is truly a global organization dedicated to serving others.
SPOTLIGHTS
Civitan is making a difference in our local community through service projects. We meet monthly and have a variety of options for members to choose from that are making a difference in the lives of those around us.

Art work was donated by a member to inspire our juniors
Special Olympics Basketball
Our Volunteers helped take over and put on a great Basketball for the Special Olympics
Volunteering at the Soup Kitchen
We got an emergency call from a fellow non-profit that they had a group fall through at the soup kitchen and they needed help. We rallied the group and showed up to serve food and had a blast!
Courtney Racine Honor Key Recepient
Courtney was awarded the honor key for her outstanding dedication to the club and her work with the juniors always there when a fellow civitan is in need.
Spring Games Volunteers 2023
Every year we help out with our local area Special Olympic games. This year we had a beautiful day and turnout to celebrate some strong inspiring athletes
Creepy Christmas Fundraiser
Every year we hold a creepy Christmas Fundraiser, which is a haunted house decorated for the holidays. All proceeds from this event go to the Warrick Humane Society.

Workaholics day
Work day in the back to clean up our area to get ready for our summer and fall events, painting weeds, building. Food and drinks will be provided

Independence Celebration
Come Celebrate our Independence as we eat, enjoy fellowship and do a little spooky haunted house prep outside in the yard for our Cemetery.

Member Extravaganza
We are having our annual Member Extravaganza, there will be food, games and fun this is sadly an adult only event so leave the littles at home and have a good time with some fellow adults.

Kids Day
During our annual Haunted house we host a kids day where we have games bounce houses and trick or treating for the kids, this is a joint project with our junior club and its always everyone’s favorite day of the year. All proceeds from this event are also donated out to charity.
