Our vision is to be a global community where people of all abilities and talents make the world a better place.
Civitan Changes Lives
Civitan is the only service organization dedicated to serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and through the Civitan International Research Center, we are helping find cures and develop treatments for autism, Rett syndrome, Down syndrome and many more brain-related disorders.
Civitans are Champions of Service
Civitan offers people of all ages the opportunity to selflessly serve their communities and make the world a better place. Whether building wheelchair ramps, developing inclusive playgrounds or fundraising for the Civitan International Research Center, we are a hands-on organization ready to roll up our sleeves to positively impact individuals in our communities.
Civitan Spans The Globe
Since the beginning, Civitans have united under a universal mission rooted in service. Spanning more than 20 nations in North America, Africa, Europe, Asia and the Pacific Islands, Civitan is truly a global organization dedicated to serving others.

Pasta in the Park
Take the evening off from cooking dinner for yourself &/or your family. Athens Civitan Club is offering a free meal of Spaghetti and side items for our community. Donations are always welcome and go directly toward funding the next quarterly meal and other local service projects that we are involved in within Athens County

Candy Box Project
We have partnered with Lulu’s El Camino Mexican Restaurant, Larry’s Dawg House and White’s Mill and have a candy box stationed at each location. This is one of our more consistent fundraisers and the monies earned from your donations help not only keep the candy full, but also help with some of the other local service projects that we do throughout Athens County Ohio

Claxton Fruit Cake Sales
During the Holiday Season get your fruitcake fix on, while helping support your local Athens County Civitan Club. Monies earned from Fruitcake sales stay local to help us provide several service projects that we do in our local area.
