Frank Kelley
2016-2017 Governor, Civitan Heartland District
Frank is a native of Florida, moving to Ft. Worth in 2012 with his wife Kim. He is a US Air Force Veteran and long time civil servant having served with the US Postal Service as well as his current employer, the Department of Veterans Affairs in Leavenworth, Kansas. Frank and Kim are the proud parents of son Brian of Melbourne, Florida and daughter Claire of Monrovia, California. They are also grandparents to Terence and Tristen.
Frank is a Certified Club Builder and charter member of the Ranger Civitan Club of Grand Prairie, Texas and the Lawrence ACTION Civitan Club of Lawrence, Kansas. Frank has over 40 years Civitan experience having started his Civitan journey as a Junior Civitan at St. Petersburg High School in Florida, where he served as President of the club during his Senior year. He initially joined the St Petersburg Civitan Club but transferred to the Clearwater Civitan Club when his work changed. Frank has held a number of club and district positions over the years. He served as International Director for the 2013-2015 term and remained active in his club and district during his time of International service. Frank is a Civitan International Research Center Fellow, Junior Civitan Fellow, as well as a President’s Council member.
Frank is proud to be leading the Heartland District during our 100th year of Civitan Service-Our Centennial Year.
