Hendersonville Civitan Club | North Carolina West
Hendersonville Civitan Club added a little beauty and charm to their city when they participated in the Hendersonville Bearfootin’ Bears event. Each bear is thoughtfully painted and decorated by different organizations and then later placed throughout the town center.
This year, the Hendersonville Civitan Club named their piece “Exceptional Bear” drawing its inspiration from Civitan International’s mission to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The mother bear symbolizes the nurturing care for all the world’s children, along with a desire to bring out the full potential often hidden in each.
